Here at Peace of Mind we believe humans and pets alike deserve thoughtful, professional, and cheerful help. The services we offer include petsitting, vacation home watch, administrative assistance, organizing, and hauling away the things you don't want.

Meet our team 

Peace of Mind Projects and Pets is now a family affair!


Our founder, Ronnie, is a former Seattle-area software professional who moved to Arizona in 2019. She has been petsitting professionally for about five of the years since then, including managing a team of petsitters for another company while providing pet care herself. Since starting Peace of Mind in 2024, she has crafted a thriving but deliberately small small business, prioritizing quality of care (and preserving her energy!) by keeping her schedule light.

In addition to a full range of petsitting services -- including walks, potty visits, kitty visits, and in-your-home overnight care -- Ronnie also offers vacation home watches, admin and bookkeeping services, tech support, light daily housekeeping assistance for clients who need it, and organization services. She will work with you to develop a package that works for you. 


Ronnie's husband, Frank, who also has a software background, does some overnights and acts as Ronnie's backup for other services. He also provides some handyman services for existing clients.


Their son, Cal, joined the team in 2025 after leaving Minneapolis and a career in the banking industry due to health issues. He has been stealing the hearts of pets around town ever since. Cal performs a lot of the evening visits for our team, in addition to offering overnight care and vacation home watches.

Our policies

  • Exceptional care: We are all in on keeping the animals and homes in our care safe, secure, and comprehensively cared for. We always try to do the right thing, and we stay until the job is done right. This shows up in extra minutes spent with your anxious kitty, some weeds pulled while we play with your dog, and your house being cleaner when we leave (if that's possible!) than it was when we arrived. If you're not thoroughly delighted with our services, we want to hear about it so we can fix it now and do better next time.

  • Booking: The earlier you book, the better the chance that we can accommodate you, but we accept last-minute bookings when we can, and we always endeavor to support our clients through family emergencies. No extra charge for late booking. 

  • Extra fees: There aren't any. The only time we add costs to what you've been quoted is when you end up needing additional services due to travel delays or vet emergencies.

  • Photos at every pet visit: Pet photography is fun, and we know from having our own pets cared for how reassuring those happy photos can be. You won't have to wonder if your pets are all right: you'll see it for yourself.

  • Cancellation: In general, we don't collect deposits for your booking, and there is no charge for cancellation. To enable us to continue these practices, please provide as much notice as possible when you need to cancel so we have a chance to accept bookings with other clients.

  • If we break it, we bought it: We are insured for your protection. If we know we damaged something during a visit, we will tell you and endeavor to make it right. If you find damage after your return, please notify us right away so we can file a timely claim with the insurance company.
